Waders are such special and charming birds! Found in many different biotopes, as well as often beeing very unshy, they´re many photographers favourites! There are many diffrent relatives in the waders family, like tringa, calidris, curlews, plovers, snipes and also many species that are totally unique! Mine and many birders wader high-light of the year in Sweden, is the southern migration of the arctic wader species like dunlin, curlew sandpiper, common ringed plover etc. which you can see some pictures of below.
